Adult Dance Classes

The Barre Caf

Artistic Director and Founder

Former Royal Ballet junior associate with professional performance experience across Europe. Holds MSc in Dance Science and multiple teaching certifications. Recipient of National Can You Dance 2023 Diversity award and other industry accolades. Leads dance science research while overseeing studio operations.

Anthony Thomas

Accounts and Business Director

Co-founder responsible for financial and business operations. Provides strategic direction alongside day-to-day management of the studio's commercial aspects. Works closely with the artistic team to ensure sustainable growth while maintaining the studio's core values.

Acrobatics Arts Teacher

Qualified instructor specialising in acrobatic dance and babyballet programmes. Teaches youth contemporary and commercial street dance classes. Contributes to the studio's diverse teaching approach while maintaining technical standards in performance-based styles.

Acro Dance Instructor

The class definitely needed to be longer. It was a fair price, which reflects it's length I suppose but due to the length I couldn't fully get into it. It feels as though 10 minutes after you've warmed up you're cooling down.

My daughter loves her acro dance class. She doesn't have other friends attending the class but she has been made to feel welcome and is getting to know the other children.

My son absolutely loves Baby Ballet - he grins the whole time! I also go to tap at DanSci - everyone is really friendly and the studio is great. Definitely recommend for people of all ages!

My daughter started at Dansci at the age of 2 doing the baby ballet classes, she now does the tappers class as well & thoroughly enjoys both. Whilst learning they have lots of fun and it helps build confidence. Highly Recommend!
