Established in 1984 by Vince Hone, Great British Kitchens & Interiors is a family owned and managed business based at Orchard Barn, Badgers Mount. Originally trained as a cabinet maker, Vince decided early in his career that he would much rather design and make his own product than rely on someone else's, ultimately leading to him opening our first shop above the 'framers' on Tile Farm Road/Tubbenden Lane, Orpington.
Since our relocation to Orchard Barn, circa 1995, we have continued to grow and strive to deliver the absolute best that we can; in design and product. Together with Vince, son Jack now leads our design team driven by the belief that we are designing better spaces for our clients to cook, entertain, work and relax in.

Classic kitchens

Our traditional bespoke kitchens are all built in our workshop using 'in-frame' construction; a traditional way of building cabinetry whereby each door is hung on exposed butt hinges, with drawers on 70kg rated, soft close runners, all set within a solid timber frame. The result is not only aesthetically pleasing but also incredibly strong and gives your kitchen the desired 'classic' look.

All of our kitchens are designed to not only look good, but also comfortably cope with the rigors of day-to-day use. They are built to stand the test of time. Our contemporary kitchens are available either 'in-frame' or 'lay on' using modern, soft-close hinges, both offering great stability for your chosen door.
