Primary Education
We provide comprehensive primary education for children aged 5-11 following the National Curriculum. Our specialist teachers deliver core subjects including English, mathematics, and science. Nursery Provision

Mr John O'Leary
Headteacher
Mr O'Leary leads the school with over 15 years' experience in primary education. He holds the Designated Safeguarding Lead qualification and oversees curriculum implementation across all year groups.
Mrs Katy Stuart
Deputy Headteacher
Mrs Stuart serves as Deputy Headteacher and Mathematics Lead. She supports curriculum development and assessment strategies while maintaining her role as Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Mrs Nicola Fray
SEND Co-ordinator

Asterdale is a fantastic school. The staff care deeply about the children and the children make great progress. The staff are always smiling, happy and approachable, and this results in the children being happy and having great learning experiences. I would love for any future children of mine to go to this school.

This school is trashhhh and the teachers are weirdos and they dont even teach us properly , the school dinners are minging and are asda smart price food. you get told off for nothing and they get police involved in little things so dont let your children go to this school.
