What should my child bring to nursery?
Provide nappies, wipes, spare clothes, and comfort items for initial visits. Label all belongings and avoid sending valuable items that could be misplaced.
How are daily routines structured?
Each room follows Pre-Birth to Three guidelines or Curriculum for Excellence, with flexible schedules for meals, rest, and child-led learning activities throughout the day.
What happens during medical emergencies?
Trained first aiders will either call emergency services or contact parents to collect the child, maintaining clear communication throughout the process.
How do you handle late collection?
Inform us in advance of delays. Collecting adults must know the security password and may need to show ID for child safety verification.
What are your infection control policies?
Unwell children should stay home. We administer Calpol with permission but require completed antibiotic courses before return to nursery.
How are complaints handled?
Raise concerns directly with staff or management. Formal complaints can be escalated to SCSWIS if unresolved internally within 24 hours.
