My name is Jackie and after moving to Kidlington in 1992, Holiday Ark was established in 2009. Starting from an early age, animals have always been a big part of my life from owning cats, dogs, chickens, hamsters and horses as well as just loving the outdoor life. Once children came along I was a stay at home mum until my youngest started Secondary School.

This then gave me the opportunity to follow my passion and pursue a successful career in caring for animals for which I feel blessed every day. Our beloved Springer Max, was a major part of the team and is lovingly remembered every day. The other half of the team is my husband, Neil, who is always on hand (albeit only one!) to help with giving lots of fuss and attention to boarding pets.
Services
Dog Walking
Report
Your dog can be walked individually or with no more than three other friendly dogs in a suitable area. Vaccinations need to be up to date as well as your pet having an identification tag, which is required by law. Water bowls will be checked upon return and muddy paws wiped after arriving back home.
Dog Boarding & Daycare
Report
We know every dog is an individual but one thing they all thrive on is routine. After their walk or light stroll they may want to chill in front of a log burner or enjoy a comfy sofa. We do require pets to be up to date with their annual booster vaccine, flea and worm treatments. Our furry guests are treated as our own, staying in the house with us and walking regularly in our amazing local countryside.
Small Animal Boarding
Report
Our large hutches, with access to exercise runs (weather permitting), have covers that are designed to be cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Our good-sized secure pet garden offers an idyllic retreat for your pet with play tunnels and ample lush grass all year round. Rabbits will need to be protected against Myxomatosis and two strains of Rabbit Viral Haemorrhagic Disease (RVHD).
