Do you photograph weddings outside the Lake District?
Yes, while based in the Lake District, I regularly photograph weddings in Lancashire, North Yorkshire, and other UK locations. Travel costs may apply for destinations beyond our core service areas.
What's included in the full day photography package?
Our full day coverage includes up to 9 hours of photography, pre-wedding consultation, comprehensive editing, and delivery of high-quality images on a personalised USB drive with full usage rights.
Can I book makeup and hair services separately?
While we specialise in combined packages, makeup and hair services can be booked separately for pre-wedding events. Most clients prefer our integrated approach for wedding days to ensure cohesive styling and photography outcomes.
How long does post-production editing take?
We prioritise quick turnaround without compromising quality. Wedding galleries are typically delivered within 4-6 weeks, with engagement and elopement images available within 2-3 weeks of the event.
Do you offer photography-only elopement packages?
Yes, we offer photography-only elopement coverage starting at £395. Our most popular option combines photography with makeup and hair services for a complete experience at £545.
What's your cancellation policy?
We require a 50% deposit to secure bookings, with full payment due 4 weeks before the event. Cancellations made more than 8 weeks in advance receive a 50% refund, with no refunds available within 8 weeks of the event date.

From start to finish Rachel was amazing, from booking our photography, hair and make up, right up until our wedding day. She was really helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. On our wedding day we had some unexpected snow but Rachel battled through and arrived, finishing everyone's hair and make up on time with half an hour to spare. She made us feel at ease and we are so pleased with our final wedding pictures.

Rachel was absolutely fabulous at capturing our proposal and photos that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. Even braving the rain and cold to stand outside and wait for the perfect moment to capture my now fiance's complete surprise! Rachel did our photography for my daughters wedding, not only that she offers a full range of make up and beauty services, she styled my daughters hair and make up for her special day and when we went for her practice run, she was lovely and welcoming and understood exactly what my daughter wanted. The night before the wedding we went to have our nails and eyebrows trimmed and she was so reassuring during this visit
On the wedding day, she felt part of the family and helped to prepare not only the bride but the bridesmaids hair and even helped me to get ready. Finally the photos were beautiful

We booked Rachel for our Just Us wedding in October 2019. I did make the journey to Kendal for a hair and make up trial about a month before. It was worth the effort as it was one less thing to worry about knowing that I would like the result. Also, to have got to know Rachel a little rather than just meeting at the ceremony. I was so glad that I had my hair and make up done as Rachel knows what works with the camera. It was also great to have someone getting you ready when you don't have any family or friends there.
