I've stayed at the George on a few occasions now and it's always been consistently excellent. Great friendly service with well decorated and maintained rooms with an excellent breakfast. Brilliant value for money.

Had a lovely stay here, family of 6. Rooms are clean and presentable. Food was great and plentiful. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this Hotel. Thank you for making my family most welcome.

Just dropped in for a cup of coffee. We were made very welcome. Comfy chairs to sit in. Light and airy, friendly staff.

Hotel was clean and tidy, the breakfasts were excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Although there is no lift staff were more than willing to carry bags to our room on 2nd floor as we were unable due to arthritis. Will definitely stay again

The hotel is clean and well kept. My opinion is probably influenced by the fact that I had a small, single room during a heatwave: it was like being in an oven. However, the breakfast was very good and the bar was extremely comfortable, although I found the bar staff unwilling to enter into conversation which is a bit of a must if you're travelling alone.
