Lutterworth MOT Centre offers the town's only dedicated, fully independent MOT testing facility for class I, II, III, IV and VII vehicles; this includes cars, motorcycles (including those with sidecars), light commercial vehicles, motor homes, 44's, trikes and other three-wheeled vehicles. Owners James Inder and Michael Rogers each have over 20 years' motor trade experience and more than 15 years of MOT testing experience under their belts.

You can get the vehicle tested at any time - however if you want to preserve the existing expiry date you can come in up to a month, minus one day, beforehand. This ensures you have plenty of time to book a convenient test slot before the existing certificate expires. The only time you are permitted to drive once the MOT is expired is when driving to a prebooked MOT test, or to the repair centre for repairs to get through the MOT.

A lot of MOT failures can be avoided by performing a few simple checks before coming to the test. Click each header to find out how. Tyres should have 1.6mm or more tread depth across 75% of their width. You should also replace any tyres that are visibly damaged or deteriorated and check that the tyre pressure is correct.

If the answer is "yes", you are not alone! Lots of people forget when it is due and don't realise until they try to renew their road tax. We'll remind you about a month before your MOT is due to give you plenty of time to book your vehicle in. You can book any time during the month before the expiry date and keep that date for next time (your existing MOT certificate should tell you the earliest date this would be possible).
