Established in 1994, Edinburgh Dental Specialists is a multidisciplinary Specialist referral centre located in the heart of Scotland's historic capital. We do our utmost to make you feel welcome, relaxed and fully informed, and we hope this brochure will provide you with helpful information at our private dentist in Edinburgh.
We would like to emphasise that we are always happy to answer any questions you may have, however small, at any stage of your enquiry, the referral process or during treatment at our dentist in Edinburgh. The majority of our patients are referred to us by their trusted family Dentist or Doctor, in the same way that GPs refer patients to hospital when they require specialist medical or surgical treatment.

Edinburgh Dental Specialists was established in 1994 by Kevin Lochhead. His aim was to create a multi-disciplinary referral only practice and over the years he has built up an outstanding team of clinicians from around the world. All of our internationally renowned clinicians have been granted permission by the GDC or GMC, or have a specialist application pending, to officially use the title 'specialist'.

Thanks to the technological advancement of the Telecoms Industry, products such as the iPhone have now made the impossible possible. Using their mobile phone, dentists are now able to quickly take a photo of a particular case or x-ray and e-mail it directly to tele-dentist@edinburghdentist.com and get a 2nd opinion from one of our Clinicians within hours.

10/10 so relevant and enjoyable like sitting at the coffee bar listening to your favourite experts discussing a subject relevant to you - and one can chip in with a question. Really like these formats, very personal. I could easily spend another thirty minutes and it would go quickly, learning something new each time.
