Conservation Windows
We supply and install like-for-like double-glazed sash and casement windows for conservation areas. Our solutions retain existing frameworks while improving energy efficiency. Using Accoya timber with slim double glazing maintains traditional aesthetics while reducing heat loss. These windows require no planning permission and offer significant cost savings compared to full replacements.
Bespoke Doors
Our handcrafted doors combine traditional joinery techniques with modern security features. Made from sustainable Accoya timber, they feature five-lever insurance-rated locks and draught-proofing. Available in various finishes, we create statement entrances that enhance property value while maintaining architectural authenticity for both modern and heritage buildings.
Timber Repairs
Specialising in permanent repairs for listed buildings, we use English Heritage-recommended products. Our team performs seamless timber splicing and stained glass restoration. With professional training in historic building conservation, we ensure repairs match original specifications while extending the lifespan of existing structures without compromising historical integrity.
Project Management
We handle complete projects from planning to final decoration. Services include CAD drawings, planning applications, scaffolding coordination, and finishing touches. This one-contact approach streamlines processes for clients, ensuring compliance with conservation regulations while maintaining quality control across all project phases for residential properties.
Sustainable Joinery
Our sustainable practices focus on FSC-certified materials and energy-efficient designs. Accoya timber offers lower carbon footprint compared to uPVC while improving thermal insulation. We provide pre-finished products with hardwax oil or three-part paint systems, reducing maintenance needs. These solutions help clients save on energy costs while supporting environmental conservation through responsibly sourced materials.

Louis and his team are brilliant! Theyve replaced all of the windows in our Victorian house with beautifully well made double glazed windows in keeping with the period - like for like. Before this theyve made bespoke cabinetry for our laundry and kitchen. They are always super professional and weve always been so impressed with their work. We will be using LBC now to make a set of bespoke double doors for an awkward spot. We cant recommend them highly enough.

Excellent service from Louis and his team. Made us a beautiful replacement window that met the requirements of the local Conservation Officer. We are looking to replace some more windows in the near future and will definitely be using LB Carpentry for the work.
