Williams Plant Hire is a family run business which started in Aberbechan (Newtown) in 1946. Since then the business has expanded when in 1985 the company bought Naylors Plant Hire in Welshpool. The company has a depot at Henfaes Lane, Welshpool as well as the original depot in Aberbechan, Newtown. Williams Plant Hire is now four generations old, and is run my brothers Terry (Welshpool depot) and Kieth (Newtown depot) and cousins Adam and Andy.
Their Grandfather George continues to take an active interest in the company. Our modern machinery is supported by our skilled engineers, comprehensive workshops and delivery vehicles. Our machinery is regularly updated and expanded to guarantee customer satisfaction and requirements.

If you have any equipment or machinery that has broken down or faulty we can repair and service it for you. We can fit and order spare parts and fittings and you can hire from us while the repair is being carried out. We are happy to provide delivery and collection services on request for all our items (charges may apply).
Skip Hire

We offer all sizes of skips, from 2 to 40 cubic yards - open and enclosed, in either chain lift or "RORO" type containers (roll on roll off) - see photos below. Waste is processed on-site at our licensed transfer station. We can recycle up to 100% of your waste, with our average rate over 80% - this helps us not only to keep our prices low, but also helps protect the environment.
