From our origins in the early 1980's, when we began operating with one petrol-engine Transit Van Skip Loader, and five rusty old mini skips, to our current fleet of modern, eco-friendly trucks and over 1000 skip containers.

Able Skip Hire Ltd is able to supply a variety of different sized containers to meet the demands of both our domestic and commercial clients. The three main sizes of skip we provide are the 2-Ton mini, 4-Ton midi and the 8-Ton maxi skips. Yes, but only if you apply for a Highways Permit from the Local District Council. These are obtained by Able Skip Hire Ltd on your behalf, and the council fee is added to the cost of the skip. The cost of the permit can be calculated using our on-line quotation system. We will supply cones to place around the skip.

Able Skip Hire Ltd are happy to provide Trade Account Facilities to all potential customers who can satisfy our credit checking procedure. We currently operate over 2000 live trade accounts, from large multi-nationals and local authorities to self-employed tradesmen and women.
All our customers, large or small, can expect to receive an equal standard of service, but we are always mindful of the need to increase capacity for any larger projects our customers may undertake.Invoices can be supplied on a weekly or monthly basis to suit your administration requirements.

Our Recycling Centre

Our purpose built 15000sq ft facility is completely housed inside, so unlike many other skip hire companies, all the waste that we collect is stored indoors. This means there is less impact on the local environment caused by waste escaping from the site, or unpleasant odours arising. It also helps to guard against incidences of fire.
