After frustration that there wasn't a independent cheesemonger based in St. Albans, owner Ed Bevin decided to take matters into his own hands. Living in Fleetville he realised there was also a need for a local spot to get great coffee, in a relaxed environment, with quality food offered. So he put the 2 concepts together, quit his city job and the Larder was born!

These are hand cut to take away, or are offered to eat-in, as part of our popular cheese and meat platters. You are encouraged to try before you buy! To place an order, add the products into your cart. Once you have completed your shop, please fill in all your details and confirm the order. We have held a range of events at the Larder, including regular Wine, Beer and Gin tastings, Film nights, talks and even a monthly Death Cafe! We can also cater for private functions for upto 25 people. Whilst we are unable to run any evening events at this time, we will let you know as soon as that changes - just sign up to receive updates!.
