Our business started near 100 years ago in a neighbours front room. My Uncle Will used their window as a display carrying out shoe repairs by the piano! In turn he paid her rent, as her husband had been killed in the war and with 3 children to bring up, times were hard. But he was a good and sincere man that reflected with the quality of his workmanship and value for money shoes, and that exactly is what we have carried on today.
