Had a great experience with Bolton Jones & Co, as a first time buyer I wasnt sure what to expect however Andrew was re assuring from start to finish and always had time to talk me through the process and provide updates! I completed within 5-6 weeks of instructing Andrew as my conveyancing solicitor, which is impressive timing after hearing of other peoples experiences! Face to face, Andrew was very helpful and tentative, but I feel that the management of expectations left a lot to be desired. They got the job done, however I felt left in the dark a lot of the time. I went a month with no word from them regarding progress, and I only received something when I marked emails as urgent or threatened to complain. I would have preferred had someone tell me what the problems were and that there is a delay, rather than absolutely nothing.

I feel prompted to write a review as I am a regular user of the Bolton Jones conveyancing service and can therefore comment through direct experience as a client. Overall the service has been very satisfactory. The staff are both accessible and approachable, indeed on occasion I have popped in to their office without an appointment and have always been greeted and seen pretty much straight away. I have used Bolton Jones twice over the last 5 years. Firstly to purchase a house and more recently to sell a house. We chose Bolton Jones again to sell our house recently, as the overall service the first time we used them was first class. I have found their costs to be cheaper than most of their competitors without any compromise on service. All of my queries were answered promptly by either Andrew or Nicola and the most important point I could make on them is that you will certainly face no delays in the buying / selling process from Bolton Jones dealing with your file as they are very efficient
