So disappointed in our visit here. We went for Sunday lunch with Santa, 2 adults and 2 children. We were seated in a function room which was poorly decorated, just a tree in the far corner. The waitress came to serve bread but we had no side plates. We had to ask for butter. The menu stated the kids starter came with a side salad which appeared to be limp cress when it arrived. I asked for my main course to be well done, it came rare and I had to send it back. When it came back everyone else had finished. The worst thing was there was such a lack of festive atmosphere. Fantastic Christmas Party Night! All The Staff Are Absolute Marvels & So Attentive. Food Was Gorgeous & Extremely Well Organised With Surprises To Us With Singing Waiters & A FREE Photo Booth. Exceptional Night! Thankyou So Much! Such A Beautiful Place. X

Very poor service. Nice quirky rooms, ours was in need of a very good clean. The one saving grace was the excellent food. If it hadn't been for the food I would have given the place two stars which is not very good for a four star hotel.

A fantastic break. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome by Caroline who was extremely pleasant and lovely . A beautiful room with a stunning view and very clean. All staff friendly and helpful. First class food . A lovely breakfast with the best veggie sausage ever.A relaxing atmosphere.Cant wait to stay again . Gill and Martin

We recently stayed overnight with dinner bed and breakfast. The setting is stunning and beautifully
maintained. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Our bedroom was clean and bright with stunning views over the garden and marquee. I would certainly recommend a stay at Nunsmere Hall.

I stayed on an offer for bed breakfast and 3 course meal for a treat for my partners b day. On arrival we were met by two ladies at reception who were lovely and very informative and bubbly. 5/5
We went to our room on the third floor and my partner was bowed over but by the size of the room and decor and the size of the bathroom 5/5 the room was also very clean. We had booked for the evening meal and this was lovely to the banana cheese cake was lovely just wish there was more of all of it. 5/5

Lovely Boutique Hotel set in a beautiful woodland lake.
