Our supply of cookers & stoves from the ESSE factory is currently not affected therefore orders can still be placed and delivered. If you require any handy bags of logs, kindling, charcoal or fire lighters please arrange an appointment for collection outside.

A: : Contrary to what many of the headlines in today's press might lead you to believe, wood burning stoves are NOT being banned. Defra has announced that it will ban the sale of traditional bituminous house coal, that wood sold in single units under 2m3 (loose stacked) must have a moisture content of 20% or less & there will be a national requirement for certified controlled sulphur content and a smoke emission limit on manufactured solid fuels.
