Room was so clean, the bedding was fresh and really comfortable. En-suite bathroom was clean also, immaculate. The smell of the room made it really welcoming.
Beds had controls for comfort. Tv worked and had the usual channels. The breakfasts were spot on and the staff really friendly. We also had a meal there with friends which was laid out beautifully and cooked to perfection! Cant recommend enough. Manager very straight forward and to the point. Bar staff/waitress was friendly to the kids and gave them some sweets which they loved!! Would defo return.

Popped in there last Saturday and had the nicest chilli con carne jacket potato with salad, great service & food, would deff visit again next time Im in clacton

Absolutely shambles. Upon arrival we were told they had no record of our reservation, despite me showing them our booking confirmation. What made it worse was the attitude of the lady that seemed to be in charge. After explaining my payment had been made and showing them my booking accommodations they eventually sorted us a twin room (we booked a double) . We soon learnt that 2 other arrivals turned up to be told they had no booking. Approximately 2 hours after our shambolic check in, we had a knock at the door and they explained they were going to have to move us to another room to accommodate
