Meridian Kung Fu Rayleigh has been established since 2003, under the name of Dynamic Martial Arts Centre. Sifu Richard Sugden has been an instructor for 15 years, and has been training for 21 years, under the direction of Sifu Sata Chand. Dynamic is a full time centre based in Websters Way, Rayleigh.
It boasts a fully equipped Kwoon, with necessary training equipment. The centre has male and female changing rooms for privacy and a reception/waiting area. Classes run throughout the week and we cater for all ages groups starting from 5 years old. We also have coaches in most classes that assist all students in the class.

3 – 4 Year Olds

Join this wonderful introduction to martial arts training in a small and friendly children's Kung Fu Class. The Mini Panda Programme is specifically designed to meet the needs of pre-school children between the age of 3-4 years. Sessions are run by fully qualified instructors that the children really warm to and enjoy training with.
5 – 7 Year Olds

On completion children are able to join as a Little Snake and Crane and participate in regular weekly sessions. The programme runs over a set period, on completion the children are fully equipped to move to the next age specific programme. This will allow you to watch professionally made tutorial videos and training drills relevant to the belt level you are training towards on any of your mobile devices.

We only recruit 20 new members ONCE a year for this programme from across the whole of Essex. Take your regular Wing Chun training to a whole new level of evolution by joining The Elite Training Group and become an expert practitioner of the weapons of Wing Chun (The Butterfly Knives and 8ft Pole), Chi Sao, Wooden Dummy training, Form applications and expression, and advanced combat principles and applications.

My Martial Art journey began in the mid-seventies. Having had some experience in boxing, it was in 1976 at the height of the Kung Fu boom that I was introduced to Wing Chun Kung Fu through my brother and Sifu Jagjit Ram, who was taught by Master Simon Lau. I spent all my time dedicated to my Wing Chun training.
