All our staff are friendly, approachable and work exceptionally hard to ensure that a good, quality service is always delivered to all our clients and customers. All our staff are trained in First Aid and Manual Handling.
Rob followed in his fathers footsteps in the Arboricultural industry in 1997 where he started work for a local tree company. In 1998 he went on to work for the local authority, during this period he studied for 3 years to gain his RFS in Arboriculture covering all the relevant N.P.T.C assessments. Rob founded Holly Oak Tree Services with Dave in 2001.

Tree Felling

Est in 2001, we have a well respected name and reputation as specialist Tree Surgeons & Arboriculturalists. Tree Felling, Tree Dismantling is the removal of trees to ground level, and can be carried out at any time of the year except in the presence of roosting bats or nesting birds. Most trees need to be dismantled when felling for a variety of reasons, such as their location to property & buildings, highways, gardens, and even other trees.

Crown Reduction (also known as 'Tree Lopping') is usually carried out when a tree has outgrown its location i.e. to overhead services or buildings in some cases just to reduce the weight of the trees crown. We carry out Crown Reduction work throughout the year, though avoiding early spring where possible as this can be detrimental to some species.

Tree Pollarding is a method of pruning that keeps a tree smaller than it would normally grow, removing all branches leaving only a skeletal frame. It is usually started when the tree reaches the required height and then maintained every 1-3 years depending on customer preference.

Our Multitel SMX 250 weighs 2770kg and is extremely compact, offering 25M of working height, although can also be folded up to pass through an opening of 1M wide and 2M high (the cage is removeable to achieve this).
