Services
Preschool Education
Our Preschool provides foundational learning for children aged 3-5 through play-based activities. Qualified staff create stimulating environments that develop social skills, creativity, and early literacy/numeracy. The curriculum follows national standards while incorporating our unique outdoor learning approach to prepare children for primary education.
Primary Education
We deliver the national curriculum for children aged 5-11 through engaging classroom instruction and practical experiences. Subjects are taught by specialist teachers where appropriate, with differentiated learning to meet individual needs. Regular assessments ensure progress tracking while maintaining our focus on holistic child development.
Outdoor Learning
Our Sheriffhales 6 outdoor programme integrates natural environments into core subjects. Children learn through hands-on experiences in our grounds, developing environmental awareness and practical skills. This approach enhances traditional teaching methods while promoting physical activity and connection with nature.
Pastoral Care
We provide comprehensive pastoral support through dedicated staff and structured programmes. Our School Council, kindness ambassadors, and buddy systems foster positive relationships. Individualised support addresses emotional and social needs, creating a safe, inclusive environment where all children feel valued.
SEND Support
Our SENDCO coordinates tailored support for children with special educational needs. We work closely with parents and external agencies to create individual education plans. The school maintains accessible facilities and trained staff to ensure all children receive appropriate learning opportunities.
