Over the years I have experienced lots of riding stables and livery yards. I can only speak of Grove house from a riding stables perspective and say that this is probably the best establishment I have ever visited. My daughter rides here fairly regularly and she is nurtured by the staff who seem to be very perceptive of her lack of confidence. Lessons are quite small and this allows the instructor to tailor the learning, ensuring that my daughter is able to work through her fears with gentle encouragement. I had a private lesson recently as a surprise birthday gift, having not been riding since before Covid I couldn't have asked for a better stables to have gone to for my first lesson back. Andrew was so enthusiastic about supporting me back in the saddle, he had a lot of knowledge and passion and I felt very welcome as a visitor! A huge thank you and I'll certainly be back horse riding now!

Ponies 'n' Pals brought Biscuit the pony to our garden to celebrate the birthdays of our daughters Summer (10 years) and Skye (3 years). They both love ponies and had a wonderful time with friends and family grooming, dressing up and playing games. We were amazed at how well Jed and Ellen were able to engage all the children ranging from 3-10 years. Both girls agree that it was the 'best party ever' and Skye wants to know when Biscuit can come to play again! Highly recommended!

I have ridden at Grovehouse for three years, in my early 40s I decided to start riding as a complete beginner- balance and coordination are not natural skills- Andrew and the team at Grovehouse have been amazing, their patience and dedication have been a great help. Not forgetting the horses who are all amazing too. Highly recommended 😊, I always look forward to my riding lessons.
