Andrew, a North Yorkshire farmer, haulier & hardworking business man, bought Breckenbrough Farm, home of Richmond Equestrian Centre, in 2018. Andrew, Abigail, their two children, Lydia & Henry and their menagerie of horses, dogs and cats all live on site in the family farm house.
With over 30 years of successful farming and business experience, Andrew plans to take Richmond Equestrian Centre to a 5 star level by renovating and improving the facilities here and introducing his professional and clean cut business approach.

Cafe

Our Cafe and new, open style seating area can accommodate around 100 people (over 200 if including the additional Conference room and standing areas). We have a beautiful double sided Chesney's log burner making the caf cosy and warm, as well as separate male and female toilets and a specific disabled toilet, (we are also in the process of getting a walk in shower area installed).
Volunteers
Report
There is a volunteering role for everyone - even if you have never volunteered before or have no horse knowledge! You will get refreshments throughout the day as well as a voucher as a thank you - those volunteering for a full day receive a free facility hire (or 25 voucher) and those volunteering for a half day receive a 10 voucher.

All our arenas have been recently refurbished with Equestrian Surfaces non waxed economy track. Each arena has its own individual water sprinkler system, to keep the arena surface at its best. Our arenas are also graded regularly, with a top of the range Arenamate grading machine - so our clients get the perfect ride every time.

If you experience any difficulties making a booking or would like support please text 07798 626075. The Breckenbrough Arena, 20mx60m Outdoor, can be hired out as a 20mx40m or a 20mx60m Dressage Arena with tall dressage marker towers & boarding by contacting the office direct. 25/hour or 12.50/half hour.

We have an extensive range of competition facilities that are available for private or external hire throughout the year. Other arenas must not be used as a "warm-up" - you must only enter the arena(s) you have hired. Your time slot includes warm up time.
