Founded in 1985 on Huddersfield road Ravensthorpe, Dave Sowerby had already had 7 years experience in the bike trade before opening his first shop, first working at Hargreaves cycles in Dewsbury as a 16 year old, before moving after a short time to work at Laurie Armitage cycles on Doctor lane in Mirfield for 6 years up until Laurie's retirement.
