John Gunner & Co. LTD is a Family Owned and run business at the same location in Guildford, Surrey since 1907. In 1968, John Gunner purchased the land from other family members and John began to recycle soils together with other associated materials. John sadly passed away in 2017; his family continues to run the business using the wealth of knowledge and experience garnered over the last 50 years.
John Gunner & Co. Ltd have gained a good reputation for the quality of our Soils, Composts and Aggregates. In 2009 planning permission was granted to build our own Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) on site which has resulted in us being able to offer a trade tipping facility and skip hire service.

Welcome to John Gunner & Co. Ltd, providing affordable skip hire and waste recycling to clients throughout Surrey and Hampshire. Currently we offer 4, 6, 8 and 12 yard skip hire at competitive rates. Our skips can be delivered in many areas of Surrey & Hampshire. Our main skip hire service covers the following towns and their surrounding villages: Aldershot, Bookham, Cobham, Cranleigh, Farnborough, Godalming, Guildford, Weybridge and Woking.

Open to Traders who hold a valid current Waste Carriers Licence, our waste transfer station is located on the Aldershot Road, between Guildford and Normandy. We have been providing our clients throughout Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire and Central London, with high quality aggregates for over 100 years. All our aggregates are delivered using our own fleet of modern environmentally friendly (Euro 4 and above) HGV tipper vehicles.
Compost & Bark

John Gunner & Co. Ltd have been providing our clients throughout Surrey, Sussex, and Hampshire with the finest composts and bark for over 100 years. Bark is an ideal weed suppressant when applied at a suitable depth, and those that do emerge can be easily removed. Bark and composts provide insulation to the roots of plants from both excess heat and cold throughout the season.
