I'm Al, the Nunhead Framer. I work from a studio in my home in the heart of Nunhead, opposite the Waverley Arms pub and Nunhead Cemetery. I offer bespoke framing for all types of artwork and personal objects, including some you might not think of framing.
I use conservation framing techniques so your art is carefully preserved and each frame is individually designed and handmade using specialist mounts, mouldings and finishes, to create a beautiful piece to hang on your wall.Due to the size of my studio I operate on an appointment basis. I offer a wide range of framing services, including canvas stretching, tray frames, window mounts and float mounting. As well as more traditional paper-based art, I have framed some very interesting textiles and 3D objects. I work with various types of wood, stains and wax finishes and paint schemes from popular suppliers such as Little Greene and Farrow and Ball.
