Micro-pigmentation is widely known as semi-permanent makeup or permanent makeup. It is a cosmetic procedure in which the pigment is inserted beneath the skin to create a makeup effect that could last up to 3 years. It can be called permanent as there is no guarantee that all of the pigment particles completely go although they fade down over time.

I find in my industry many clients come to me to "correct" work done elsewhere, they are either unhappy with the brow shape or colour or in most cases both. I also find clients that will come to have their brows "topped up" after previous work has been done elsewhere maybe a year or two old. In these case's I need to look at the skin and see how saturated it is with ink.
