Highly recommended. Good to deal with at every level. Staff willing to go the extra mile without complaint. Our move was massively more complex than we'd planned: in 5 stages in the end. All the changes were accommodated reasonably, everything done very efficiently and on time.

With only a video-call estimate of the work a week before the move, Richardson's planned the logistics of our move flexibly over 3 days. In practice the crew of 4 knew what they were doing, had all the right materials, were a pleasure to work with and completed the whole in under a day and a half, including time waiting for keys. Our total invoice was rounded down to the actual time and volume without needing to ask. Hard to imagine better service.

We recently moved from N.Yorkshire to Cumbria, and contacted several companies for quotes. Richardsons impressed right from the outset, being the only firm whose surveyor, Toby, not only turned up on time to assess our move, but also the only one to get a quote to us within the day. Thanks Toby. On the day of moving, the team were bang on time and simply did a brilliant job. Josh, Gary, Marcus and Ally were friendly and very professional, and nothing was too much trouble. Richardsons moved our furniture into store in December 2020, and to our new house two hundred miles away on June 1st this year. All our furniture, antiques and glassware etc. was carefully and expertly packed, and not a single piece was damaged. The removal men were sensitive to any concerns we had and were thoroughly professional. They had moved us into our previous house in 1996 and we were relieved to find that their standard of service is still second to none. We have no hesitation in recommending this company. Just been moved by Richardsons including a period of storage. Superb service, nothing was too much. Great care taken including padding doors and bannisters, lining floors and double wrapping tvs etc. Staff are all very polite, hard working and helpful. Very good value compared to others offering similar services too. Highly recommended.
