When the war broke out in 1939, E.E. Green & Son were requested to deliver vital admiralty supplies to assist with the war effort. In 1968, E.E. Green purchased its first digger for 300, and it was then then when E.E. Green & Son Plant Hire was born. Since that day, the company has continued to grow from strength to strength acquiring many iteams of plant hire over the years, including specialist tools to high-spec machinary.
