It's important that at least once a year your wood-burning, multi-fule stove or fireplace undergo's an annual service which will include stripping, inspecting and cleaning the appliance. In addition our trained HETAS engineer will inspect the chimney and flue liner and carry out a comprehensive chimney sweep.
Fuels
Report
Most of our customers choose to burn wood, as it is a renewable fuel that is friendlier to the environment. This is because the carbon dioxide released by the wood when burned is approximately equal to the amount absorbed by the tree as it grew. For optimum results, we recommend that wood is seasoned for a minimum of two years.
