History

Erewash Valley Golf Club at Stanton by Dale was founded in 1905, as a nine hole course and by late 1907 it had been extended to eighteen holes. One of which was a par 6 played over a road and two hedges. The clubhouse was then a room rented from Willow Farm, now the dining room and Kitchens. In 1907 the club bought a second hand guard van to use as Changing and Locker rooms.

Sunday Twilight Membership

We are delighted that there has been an upsurge in the popularity of golf and, as a consequence, our Sunday & Twilight membership category is currently full and we do not anticipate taking on further Sunday & Twilight members this year. We have a number of other membership categories available now and there may be opportunities to join as a Sunday & Twilight member in the future.
Dress Code

Erewash Valley is a true members club, wholly owned and run by its members. As such we take pride in our surroundings and politely request that all visitors to our club respect our environment. Anyone coming to our club to enjoy a round of golf must adhere to the code. If you do not you will be politely asked to change into suitable clothing, if necessary by purchasing items from our Professional's shop.

Simon Purcell-Jackson is the head professional at Erewash Valley GC. His pro shop is well stocked with a good variety of clubs, clothing and accessories, including brands such as Ping, Taylormade, Under Armour, Motocaddy, Lyle & Scott, Proquip, Srixon & Galvin Green and a wide range of shoe brands including Footjoy and Under Armour.
