Our team of carers have been working together for many years, some for over 10 years. We believe it is important for them to grow professionally, up skill and continue to feel inspired within their role. This gives us the cutting edge over our competitors. Our practitioners are part of our family, they are highly skilled and specialise in babies, toddlers and young children.

We provide a nurturing, educational and loving nursery for babies, toddlers and young children in a 'home from home' environment. Established in 2006, Shannon ChildCare is an innovative and forward-thinking establishment based in Edgware, North London. All our nurseries are situated within walking distance of Edgware Tube and Bus Station and nearby links with Mill Hill Overground Station.

We know that children thrive on daily routine as it gives them a sense of security. Therefore we ensure each day is carefully structured whilst leaving enough time for spontaneous activities to take place too. For babies requiring a morning sleep there are rooms, made available, with mattresses and cot beds; we follow your routine as much as possible.

At Shannon ChildCare we are proud of our teams and staff retention. We are passionate about working with highly experienced and qualified practitioners. The majority of our carers work across the three settings, this enables them to experience working within different environments and learning from other professionals; it also provides variety.

Shannon ChildCare has a 5 Star Hygiene rating from the Environmental Health. We understand the importance of providing healthy, well-balanced and interesting meals for our children. Ensuring a variety of different and delicious foods means that children really enjoy and look forward to mealtimes.

A person with nutritional knowledge has specially created our pescatarian plus vegetarian menus and our on-site chef prepares each meal daily using fresh vegetables and fruit.Our lunch and teatime meals are always freshly cooked. Parents are emailed our weekly menus and we are constantly trying different dishes.
