Gary is a miracle worker. He's the only stylist who has the skill to work with my fine, thin, brittle hair and make it look pretty damn good. I have absolute confidence in him. Everyone in the Salon is friendly and professional. Can't recommend this place enough.

She had taken me through my curly girl journey to transition from damaged, constantly straightened hair to a head of beautiful bouncy curls with style and edge. I wanted to get my first curly cut. Curlies out there beware, because this salon is advertised as curly friendly, however they cut curly hair WET. I booked an appointment with "Sarah" (they said she has experience with curly hair since her hair is curly too), however it was obvious she didn't know how to cut curly hair properly, since she wet my hair and cut it wet.. Also, she cut my hair one side shorter than the other, I couldn't believe it...I will definitely not be going back. I must say Sarah was lovely through, hence the two stars, but unfortunately the cut doesn't justify the price.

A real gem of a Salon, here you will get very experienced professionals who will not let you leave in a state. Just because its trendy doesnt mean it will suit you. When I first found this place I had been to one of the Instagram worthy salons. My hair was frazzled, patchy colour and terrible style and condition. Between Jon and Mark they nursed it back to some life. It took a while, it must be two years on that I have the most healthy hair Ive had since I dont remember when. My hair is wiry and natural curly, frizzy. Jon has cut my hair to suit wearing both straight and curly. Teaching

Having recently moved to the area I saw reviews for Jon Kinsey Hairdressing that said they are curly/wavy/texture specialists. I called up to make an appointment and the woman who answered was so lovely. She not only made my appointment with Tracey after offering me a couple of options but she even suggested where to park which was really helpful. I arrived and was greeted and a coffee offered and gratefully accepted. Tracey joined me and gave me such a thorough consultation. Jon Kinsey gave me the worst haircut in October 2017. He hacked off hunks of my shoulder length hair which had been cut by another Leeds hairdresser and had NO layers and created uneven wedges and sever layers all over my head. It looks like mushroom stuck on top of hacked off hair! When I wrote a negative review on Google and his FB, Kinsey lied and said I had been living in Cyprus and had been having my hair cut there!! I have NEVER had my hair cut in Cyprus and the last haircut before Kinsey ruined my hair was done by a Leeds hairdresser and was OK. Never again!!
