North Yorkshire Physiotherapy
New lockdown in England: It is permitted to travel to a medical appointment and we remain open, however we will be encouraging those clients whose condition can be managed virtually to set up a video consultation as an alternative to face to face. This is to benefit the health and wellbeing of our clients as well as our valued staff members.

TELEPHONE TRIAGE FROM A PHYSIO IS NECESSARY PRIOR TO A FIRST APPOINTMENT BEING BOOKED. We continue to maintain our high standards of infection control for those who need face to face sessions but for those requiring advice through an exercise rehab programme, we will advise a video appointment if possible.

What Our Clients Say
Report
It was purely random that I was referred to NYP. However, it was such a pleasure to be dealt with by such a talented team (Kate, Phoebe and Dallas - there are others, but I didn't meet them). My recovery, from a hip operation, was managed professionally but also practically. I have enjoyed amazing recovery and can now swim, ride and walk some distance after only 2 months, and a small number of treatments.
Physiotherapy benefits
Report
Physiotherapy is the use of movement and exercise, manual therapy, education and advice to help people affected by injury, illness or disability (Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, 2013). The aim is not only to reduce pain and facilitate recovery but also to restore function and prevent injury and disease.
