Bob Jones (pictured right) knows how to solve your heating and hot water problems. He did his first "power flush" to solve heat exchanger (for hot water) problems, to move sludge and remove debris and rust in 1992 when hardly anyone in the plumbing and heating world had heard of it. In 2004 he set up Powerflush UK to provide the first nationwide central heating system power flushing service for domestic and commercial heating systems.

These products are very sophisticated and well engineered and work very well indeed. However, service and repair engineers will often take one look in airing cupboards and when they see these units, refuse to touch them! This is not surprising really as they are very complicated pieces of equipment and they all function slightly differently - some can have up to three pumps!

If you live in or are responsible for the maintenance of a property that is much larger than the average domestic house it can sometimes be hard to find the right heating/plumbing professional. Large domestic heating systems (and some smaller commercial ones) can fall between the skill-sets of domestic plumbers and industrial heating engineers.
