AVE Ltd are approved manufacturers and installers of Firemac ductwork which has been fire tested to BS 476: Part 24 1987 & EN 1366 Parts 1, 8 & 9. We specialize in applications of Firemac ductwork for commercial kitchen extraction & ventilation, car park extraction & ventilation.

Firemac FM Fire Ducts are manufactured by using Firemac FM Fabric, a specially woven glass fibre cloth, produced in the UK, which is applied to steel ductwork at the point of fabrication.Firemac FM Fire Ducts are tested to British and European Standards and provide fire resistance of up to four hours, with all test evidence independently assessed by BRE and covered by Third Party Certification.

Extraction systems are designed to extract dirt, grease and odours from well-used commercial kitchens. This naturally causes a build up within the filters and non-maintenance of the system will likely result in a flow restriction. For this reason, they require regular cleaning and maintenance, just like a car.

Daily use of your grease and odour extract system without proper cleaning can be very dangerous. Many think that a light and regular clean is sufficient, but don't realise that the grease and dirt which the system has tried to extract, when subject to high temperatures, essentially becomes baked-on and will therefore remain firmly in place.
