Your Trusted Residential Care Home in East Sussex
At Bernhard Baron Care Home, our complete focus is on providing exceptional residential care and assisted living since 1945. As a Quaker-led, not-for-profit organisation, we prioritise individual choice and independence while ensuring residents receive tailored support. Our unique setting in East Sussex offers two distinct living options: self-contained flint cottages or en-suite rooms in our main building, both surrounded by five acres of tranquil gardens. With a dedicated team, many of whom have served for years, we foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere where residents maintain autonomy over daily routines, from dining preferences to activity participation.

Our comprehensive care plans, updated monthly, address personal, medical, and social needs, including medication management and accompaniment to medical appointments. Residents enjoy a vibrant calendar of activities co-created with current occupants, alongside flexible dining arrangements and regular community engagement opportunities. Our governance structure includes monthly Residents' Forum meetings and trustee visits to ensure continuous improvement and resident satisfaction. We invite prospective residents and families to explore our facilities and experience firsthand the Bernhard Baron difference, where charity, care, and community converge.
