The Colour Lounge is headed up by Lisa Whitehouse, with colleagues Kim Arscott, Kelly Heard, and Charlotte Hughes, by her side. This new luxury salon was borne from the desire to provide locals with an exceptional level of hair care, using the finest products and methodology in the industry.
In addition to that, we're passionate about creating a welcoming environment where our clients can enjoy an exceptional level of customer service and hair care.Additionally, Lisa has successfully completed several courses at the renowned Not Another Salon, including: Balayage, Bleaching and the Not Another Salon trademark course: Vivid Colour Melts.

We hope we accommodate everyone but the best hair experience will always be a cut and blow dry so your hair is finished by your stylist. We have taken the decision to not offer wet cuts as this doesn't give you the best cut because we can't finish it. We like to do a lot of cutting when the hair is dry and styled in its natural state and can't do this while wet.

So where do we start with colour? After all we are the colour specialists. Balayage is the biggest trend at the moment, with good reason. We offer several methods under this banner, traditional freehand balayage, ombr and foilage. We might use a mixture of them all to achieve the look you are wanting.

Well we were guilty of doing just this until Lisa went to Birmingham to train with Matthew from Spring, the UK's first dedicated curly hair salon.

We love cutting hair too and always looking at the new trends coming through. We have specialists in bobs and short hair. Be it a classic bob, pixie cut, lob or you want a slight twist to it, we will talk it through with you and help you decide on shape and length.
We give you a thorough consultation prior to us washing your hair with the beautiful Milkshake Shampoo and Conditioner to suit your hair needs, be it moisture, repair, volume, toning, or lightweight we have the range and it's all available to buy so you can continue to look after your hair at home.
