Ellisons is owned and operated by the original founder's grandsons, Mike and Andy Magowan, who over the years have expanded the business to the extent that it is one of the leading coach companies in the UK. We are based in the town of St Helens, in the North West of England; however, coaches are available throughout the UK.
Our History
Report
We are a well established family business, founded in the 1920's by the current Director's Grandfather. Back then, the converted coal trucks would transport company employees from St Helens to Blackpool for their summer outing.

The Company was taken into the 20th Century by Stan Magowan, who was awarded an MBE for his services to the travel industry and he expanded the car and coach side of the business, as well as opening a travel agents in 1961, when he couldn't find the right holiday for his honeymoon!In the 1960's, Ellisons became the official team vehicle for Liverpool Football Club, a client that is still retained today, through quality and service.
The Fleet

Premiership vehicles are tabled vehicles, with kitchens, ovens, sockets, Sky TV, Wifi and some have Bose sound. As stylish as the Premiership vehicles, with leather interiors, some with tea and coffee making facilities, but without tables and kitchens. Corporate vehicles are still impressive, with seating for up to 53, which makes them ideal for moving large groups, particularly useful for conferences and business.

Exceptional vehicles named after our Premiership clients. Bespoke interiors designed to the highest quality, which are perfect for Corporate Hospitality. Seating up to 36 depending on the layout, each vehicle has a slightly different configuration. Most of these vehicles have a kitchen at the back, so it is out of the way of your guests.
Corporate Coach Range

Our Corporate range is very similar to our Premiership Range, they have almost the same high specification inside. The main difference being they are straight-seated, with no tables, making it ideal for Corporate events with larger numbers. The great thing about the vehicles in the Corporate Coach Range, is that they carry far more people than the Premiership vehicles, as they seat up to 55 people.
