Established in 2010, husband and wife team Marc and Leigh Carr are Directors of Carrs Windows while Leigh's sister Kim works as the Office Administrator. Marc, a fully-qualified Joiner by trade, had a run of bad luck in 2010 when he broke his leg not once but twice! It meant a long time off work and while recovering at his parent's home in Addingham he got thinking about all the old houses and cottages in the area.
Marc noticed that replacing the doors and windows on such buildings required specific joinery knowledge and set about researching this further. He found a real need in the area for a reliable company with a good knowledge of Yorkshire and the challenges that come with the region such as the weather, protected areas and difficult access.

We produce timber window frames in our own workshops in Skipton, North Yorkshire. We also provide uPVC & aluminium frames and double-glazing products fitted by our highly-skilled team and made to last. Alternatively we offer supply-only too. Out timber doors are made and pre-finished in house by our skilled craftsmen.
