Like many people who now work in the recruitment industry, I stumbled across it by accident. After initially starting out as a branch administrator for a small agency in Bournemouth (where I lived for 4 years), I decided to move back to my hometown in Birmingham and apply for a trainee sales consultant role for a large industrial and Driving agency.

All you need to do is pass on our contact details to any HGV/LGV driver that you know who are looking for work or looking for a change. Once they have completed two hundred hours of work for us equal to approx. 4 weeks, we will give you 100 and we will give the driver you referred 50! When each one of your referrals reaches the 200-hour mark, you will get the cash and the person you referred will get theirs!

I've only been with Birmingham branch of Purestaff for about 6 months and I found the team somewhat communicative, moreover especially Conna who actually brought me onside with a work opportunity. I always had a good rapport with him whenever he was available as I know he's had a few personal issues so when he wasn't available the other members of the office team I feel were somewhat more formal in attitude.
Overall I feel that even though you might think that the team aren't doing what you feel they should be, it's sometimes the company you're placed with that are obstinate and not playing ball

Steady work, they offered me a job 5 days a week working for a big warehouse as an order picker but the place was understaffed, no radio, blamed every day for things I didn't even do, no talking. I left with one week notice, plenty of time to look for another person to replace me. Been 2 weeks and not heard back from them. I'd hope this isn't the ONLY contract they have, understandable they are desperate for staff but an agency has got to have other opportunities. Just found it a bit rude how nobody has contacted me.

Pure staff Birmigham have always been responsive and helpful. I can honestly say this is a rare agency where they put their workforce first. Very professional always paid on time and always communicating weekly basis. They just don’t throw you in and leave you there. Frank at Birmigham is very responsible and always on top of the game. Pure staff rang me to arrange an interview for a plumbing suppliers in Perry Barr, Prima flow. They didn't say I would be pitted directly against 2 other people. Or that a test on the spot would be conducted on how well I could pick or pack. Those 2 unexpected scenarios rang alarm bells and the guy opposite me became visibly annoyed and nervous from the unwelcome surprise.
Before the test began the sub manager declared how poor the others had preformed the other day, which came across as both demeaning and unprofessional and I began to wonder at the complexity

Really good agency. As a new passed they find me a job really fast in good companies with easy job and understanding people with a new driver. Always asking themselves if I'm OK with the job, if no to find me another one. The Transport guys always been really helpful and always tried to find me a good place. And really thankfull to them for everything. Not the highest pay that you can find, but I was really pleased with everything.

Have been with these past 3 months. I've never had such a bad experience with having a job. Downgrading. Rude. I will Never go with an agency ever again. Also won't pay for a weeks work I've done. So angry and upset that I've been treated so badly. DO NOT go with these. So keen to get you in board then treated like absolute rubbish. They have technically put me out of a job.!! Awful!!!

I contacted Pure Staff after be made redundant and have no luck in the job market and feeling low , the people at pure staff could not have been more helpful and supportive , after a long chat about skills and personal details the said they would check for suitable work and get back to me ,two hours later I was offered work . In the next weeks I… was given each day that was followed up with plenty of contact to see that I was ok and happy with the placements , I was treated great and felt part of the Pure staff team as well as the clients . I have been given a contract and in full time employment

Complete Time-wasters make you come in and join agency and kept me waiting in the waiting area for nearly 2 hours till I was seen. Then interview me and tell me they have just had 20 jobs come in and you shall get a call today evening. Been waiting 3 weeks and phoned them today and asked what's going on they could not find my file were asking me are you sure it was this agency that you joined. Plz avoid!!!!!
