Services
Landscape Design
Our landscape design service creates tailored garden plans that balance aesthetics and functionality. We begin with a site survey and client consultation to understand your vision, budget, and garden characteristics. Our designs incorporate principles of unity and rhythm, offering options from basic sketches to detailed 3D visualisations. Each plan considers plant suitability, soil conditions, and seasonal impact, ensuring a cohesive and sustainable outdoor space.
Decking Installation
We construct durable, aesthetically pleasing decking using premium softwood, hardwood, or composite materials. Our installations include structural support frameworks and optional features like pergolas or gazebos. Composite decking options provide low-maintenance solutions resistant to weathering, while traditional timber offers natural warmth. Every project prioritises safety, durability, and seamless integration with existing garden elements, creating versatile spaces for relaxation or entertainment.
Water Features
From small fountains to elaborate pond systems, our water features enhance garden ambiance. We design and install cascading waterfalls, still water installations, and filtration systems tailored to your garden's scale. Using high-quality materials and careful placement, these features become focal points that introduce movement, sound, and ecological interest while complementing surrounding landscaping elements.
Driveway Construction
We create durable, visually appealing driveways using block paving, gravel, or decorative stone. Our designs consider vehicle access requirements, drainage solutions, and architectural harmony with property style. Proper sub-base preparation ensures longevity, while thoughtful material selection balances aesthetics with practicality, enhancing kerb appeal and property value through professionally executed installations.
Fencing Solutions
Our fencing services provide security, privacy, and garden definition using various materials including timber, bamboo, and metal. We install picket, closeboarded, and decorative fencing options that withstand weather conditions while complementing landscape design. Projects consider terrain challenges and incorporate gates, ensuring both functionality and visual continuity within the overall garden scheme.

We needed shed demolition, a new sandstone patio, new fencing and demolition/ re-sizing of our raised beds. Alex was very clear in his quotes and the work this represented, leaving no ambiguity about the work that was going to be done. We are really pleased with the standard of his finish and the materials used - a lot of care has been taken to ensure the patio is beautifully flat! His design approach was fluid and quite happily responded to last minute design changes, he also was clear if this was not on the original pricing before going ahead, so no surprises in the final bill. I would gladly

Our garden has been completely transformed by Alex at GardensDirect. Our lawn was wrecked due to the wet winter/spring we suffered so after consulting Alex we decided on something maintenance free. We discussed various options and decided to have artificial grass. Alex supplied samples and went to a great deal of effort. As we already have a decking area it seemed a good idea to extend this theme. Alex levelled off our lawn, laid sunken sleepers, put deck planks on the top of the sleepers and laid the artificial grass inside. It now looks like an extension of our decking, it's fabulous! This was the simplest and uncomplicated operation to get my garden transformed. All it took me to do was to phone Alex at Gardensdirect then leave it all to him and Andrew to complete the work as per his incredibly cheap quote. I had been expecting a bigger quote for what I had wanted.
Alex provided the expert knowledge and advice during the initial planning stage. He detailed all work to be carried out, including a breakdown of all materials and plants supplied. If you want your garden transformed at a very reasonable price using top quality materials and plants then make Gardensdirect your

We had a large area in which we wanted to build a patio and after consulting several companies we decided to put our faith in Alex and Gardens Direct, and it was certainly not misplaced! The whole operation from start to finish was painless and we are so happy with the end result it looks great and Alex was diligent in providing us with a great looking product that was still within our budget! I certainly would have no hesitation at all in recommending Gardens Direct and for any work we may have in the future they will be my first port of call!
