York's oldest bike shop, Bob Trotter Cycles, was transformed into Giant Store York in 2011, remaining independent and carrying forward the Trotter family name through the founder's grandchildren who own and manage the store.
York was home of the Grand Depart of Le Tour de France in 2014 and Tour de Yorkshire and the Giant store was proud to welcome professional team Giant-Alpecin to the store in 2015 where the stars of that years Tour de France led a ride out from the store. The Liv Store York is the latest addition in the heritage and adding to the excellent service provided by Giant Store York.
