Founded over 36 years ago by Managing Director Shaun Merrick, Speed Couriers has progressed a long way from the almost derelict Station House that served as the companies first office and operating centre - here's a brief snapshot of our history.
A grant from the Princes Youth Business Trust, back-breaking work renovating the Old Railway Station House, and a couple of motorbikes launched Speed Couriers onto the emerging Manchester courier scene in 1985 and formed the basis of the company that has endured the years and grown to become the North West's longest established and largest independent Sameday Courier.
