Premier Dance School in Huntingdon for All Ages
Generations Dance Academy was founded in 1990 by Principal Wendy Burke as the Wendy Burke School of Dance. In 2012, we relocated to a purpose-built facility in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, featuring three studios with sprung floors, air conditioning, and 700 square metres of space. Our rebranding reflects our legacy of teaching multiple generations, with former students now enrolling their own children. We offer over 50 weekly classes across ballet, tap, contemporary, acro, street dance, musical theatre, and circus skills, alongside unique SEN classes. Our team holds Enhanced DBS checks, first aid certifications, and affiliations with institutions like the Royal Academy of Dance and ISTD. We prioritise nurturing educators who share our values, creating a supportive environment where students develop technical skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of dance. Our facilities include a dance shop, caf, and micro-gym, cementing our position as Cambridgeshire's leading dance academy.

We came here on the off chance my daughter would like the idea of a pair of tap shoes and making so noise .. that was nearly 6 years ago. And my now nearly 10 year old has added SO many styles to her repertoire. She developed so many skills and made some life long friends (as have I) because of the welcoming peaceful atmosphere at Generations. 💗🧡💚

A really friendly dance studio with great teachers, talented kids and supportive parents. We spend loads of time here and it feels like a hone from home.
