With some martial arts clubs you will pay a sizable membership fee plus a contract tying you in for anywhere up to eighteen months. Private lessons are available from 25 for an hour to club members. Please arrange your private tuition with our head instructor Rajko Dokic in person or by telephone. Derby Martial Arts Centre provides a place for you to learn a martial art for self defence, competitive fighting or for keeping fit.

Whether you are looking for kickboxing, traditional Lau Gar kung fu or any other form of self defence, with full time facilities for martial arts we are confident we will have a programme to suit you and your family. The club is run by Rajko Dokic who has a history as a prolific tournament fighter and is highly regarding as one of the leading figures in the British Kung Fu Association.

Even though Lau Gar has become famous for it's tournament fighters, many people do not realise it's foundations and strengths are traditional in every way, from empty hand forms, traditional weapons, two person drills, hand and body conditioning.
