Tree Surgery & Felling
Our certified arborists perform precision tree surgery and safe felling operations across residential and commercial properties. Using industry-standard equipment, we remove hazardous trees while preserving surrounding landscapes. Each project follows BS3998 guidelines for tree work, ensuring structural integrity assessments precede all interventions. Clients benefit from minimal property disruption and complete site clearance post-operation.
LOLER Inspections
We provide thorough LOLER-compliant inspections for height-access equipment used in arboricultural and industrial settings. Our ROSPA-qualified technicians examine climbing gear, rigging systems, and safety harnesses according to statutory requirements. Detailed defect reports accompany certification, with digital record-keeping for future reference. This service ensures compliance with lifting equipment regulations while maintaining workplace safety standards.
Vegetation Clearance
Our vegetation management services address overgrown land for development, utility, or conservation purposes. Specialised machinery handles large-scale brush removal while manual techniques preserve ecologically sensitive areas. We process arisings into mulch or logs where possible, minimising waste through recycling initiatives. Clients receive tailored solutions balancing environmental considerations with project timelines.
Tree Planting
We implement sustainable tree planting schemes for ecological enhancement and landscape restoration. Our specialists select appropriate species based on soil conditions and environmental factors. Comprehensive aftercare packages include protective measures against pests and environmental stressors. Projects align with local authority tree preservation orders while contributing to long-term biodiversity goals across public and private landholdings.
Conservation Works
Our conservation services protect ancient woodlands and veteran trees through sympathetic management practices. We control invasive species while maintaining habitat diversity for protected wildlife. Clients receive ecological assessments guiding minimal-intervention approaches that satisfy planning conditions. This expertise extends to TPO-compliant works and heritage landscape preservation across northern England.

I have used CWTS many times for both hard landscaping (patio) and general gardening services (such as pruning and hedge planting) and they have always done a great job. Good advice and support too.
