Find out more about The Pet Retreat, meet our award-winning team and discover why we started offering luxury bespoke dog grooming to pets across Cheshire. The Pet Retreat was established in 2015. Our first salon opened in Knutsford next to our sister company, Knutsford Veterinary Surgery. Since then we've expanded to four salons across Cheshire, including in Bowdon, Holmes Chapel, and Woodford.
Our luxury pet pampering experience is like no other. As well as delivering a top class professional groom, we think it's just as important that your pet enjoys the experience and leaves healthier than when they entered. HEALTH The Pet Retreat is part of the Knutsford Veterinary Surgery group giving us an added health focus.
Our exciting new grooming subscription plan will keep your pet's coat shiny and healthy all year round and save you money in the process. By signing up to our Grooming Club, you'll benefit from a regular gold standard groom every four to eight weeks, upgraded to a full Makeover free of charge. This means your pet can look forward to two free spa treatments of your choice as part of their regular visit to The Pet Retreat.
The Pet Retreat grooming salon in Bowdon is nestled in the heart of Bowdon Vale, just off Vicarage Road. Offering a range of packages that will bring a cheer to both dog and owner alike, we're the number one choice for dog grooming in Altrincham. We're owned by a veterinary surgeon and part of the Knutsford Veterinary Surgery group, based just a stone's throw away in Knutsford where we have another salon.
Holmes Chapel is home to a new approach to dog grooming. The Pet Retreat offers a range of bespoke grooming packages and treatments that will help make your dog look like amazing. Nestled in the heart of Holmes Chapel, just off London Road, our salon could not be easier to access. There is also a large free car park for easy drop-off and pick-ups.

I was recommended to come to the pet retreat in bowdon by a friend. I’m so glad that I brought my puppy here. Sophie was so kind and my puppy was so relaxed going in and coming out again. She looked beautiful and still fluffy. I was worried she would be shaved. Great salon I would highly recommend
