The Bell's Team is Meg, Lucy, Nigel, Katy, Colin and Matt. Our interests are diverse and our backgrounds equally so, but we are brought together by our shared love of cycling, engineering and design. Meg founded Bell's in 2008 with the plan to source the most beautiful, easy to ride and simple to maintain bikes from around the world.
Bell's was to be a bike shop for everyone. Taking inspiration from her interest in classic bike design, art and engineering, she set out to create a space that incorporated all these elements. Fast forward and Bell's is an award winning independent bike shop and online retailer which contains an ever changing collection of bicycles and innovative accessories.

At Bell's we specialise in vintage bike restoration and offer every level of restoration to all bikes, in any condition. We have a dedicated restoration workshop with specialist knowledge and a network of partnering companies who we work with to provide chroming and paint finishes. We are based in Hastings, East Sussex although we restore bikes globally and can provide an estimate from photos.
Cycle scheme

It's easy to purchase a bike through The Cycle to Work Scheme it can also save you up to 40% when buying a bike plus accessories that you plan to use as your ride to work. Your employer buys the bike and you pay towards it monthly from your gross salary. Overall your salary is reduced and so is your tax bill - hence the savings.

If you fancy a spin along the prom then you can hire one of our bikes / scooters and see East Sussex on two wheels. Booking isn't essential but we do work on a first come first serve basis and the fleet does get booked up, especially at weekends and during the summer season. So, in what right now may be a head scratching time we thought we would share with you our step by step method to assembling your Bobbin Gingersnap. The Gingersnap featured in this tutorial is the 16 but it can also be applied to teh whole of the Bobbin kids range.
