Excellent. Highly recommended. Group of us stayed in Buxton for a few days walking. Allied got us out and back to Castleton, Hayfield and Edale. Very reliable and a pleasure to deal with. Thanks to Alan and team for a great service.

I just booked a taxi tried for half past 11 but was tols i would have to wait untill between 11.40 and 11.45. Not a problem i said asked for a call back on arival as im in a top floor flat he said no! No problem i said.. At 43 minutes past i see him outside so send my guest out only for the taxi driver to disappear.. My guest without a phone! I call the driver no aswer... I keep calling when he answers he tells me hes been waiting ages.. Unlikely.. The time of this conversation is now 11.45.. Unreliable not it impressed. Iv used them for years but never again now

Needed a taxi from Hargate Hall to The George Hotel, 2.4 miles taking 6 minutes, needed picking up at 11.30pm, got quoted 25, needed a taxi and even though other taxi firms had quoted me between 12 & 15,they could not pick me up. Taxi turned up on time but the metre had a starting price on the metre of 15.50, I didnt feel like being left stranded so just got in the taxi with my wife. Arrived at hotel with metre saying 23, needles to say he didnt get a tip. I understand I am in the country, but I always thought in the UK metered taxis ment just that. I have passed on the relevant information

I use this taxi today and its ripping me off I normally pay at least 50 from Macclesfield to Bakewell but on her meter it charge me 70.80 and I know she went a long way coz I know my way around I been using a different taxi for 2 weeks now..Im not using this company again

Taxi services are never perfect, like busses really. Sometimes there are loads & other times none. Would have given this company five if it were not for this. Use this company as number one on the call list. During the day the service is fantastic. Early evening due to the busy Opera House forward planning needed. The drivers are very charming & if you use them a few times recognise you. Night time is like the wild west, the poor people have many interesting people to take home after a few Ales.
